On a royal blue background, there is easily to see a symbol that represents the members of the Organization of American States: the organizationís seal.

What is special about the facts and history of OAS flag is that every time a nation joins the organization, its flag is added to the seal design. Currently, there are 36 flags that can be seen on the organizationís seal, Belize and Guyana being the last members that joined it.

The flags are arranged in an arc and suggest the whole that the nations form together. Royal blue has been chosen as background because its imposing nuance and the formal atmosphere it creates.
