What does the rebel flag stand for?

Rebel flag is a symbol of pride, glory and a history that cannot be erased until the day of Armageddon.

The enormous loss of life and the huge unrest that came to the forefront during the American Civil War made a long lasting impression that no one can forget. The Rebel flag is also known as Southern Cross or the Confederate flag.

The Rebel flag or the Confederate flag is a symbolic of outright racism and signifies slavery. This is, as a matter of fact, a reason for hatred and there is always an anti-group who never look into the symbol as a matter of pride and glory however there is a group of people for whom the Rebel flag is very important and they feel pride whenever they look at the flag.

The Confederacy took shape in 1861 on February 4th and was formed by the Sothern which moved out of United States during the Civil War.

It was officially known as confederate Navy Jack however, it was also known as the Confederate flag or the Southern Cross. In May 1863 the second confederate flag was adopted followed by the third flag in March 4, 1865.

The Confederate Flag is looked upon as a symbol of rights for the Southern States. For some people, the Rebel flag is actually same or rather equivalent to the American Flag.

Undoubtedly, there were certain extremely severe issues, which hovered around the Confederate Flag leading to a massive loss of human life during the 1860’s and the later years. There were huge unrest during that era and the major causes were the battles over serfdom and slavery and the Civil War.

Thus the Rebel flag has a dual meaning and should be used cautiously as the person using the flag must be open to criticism.
