Flag Pole Stand

A flag pole stand is generally one that is used to display a flag indoors. They are used for court rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, government offices and houses of worship.

Look for a stand with a weighted core so that the flag will be less likely to tip over. The prices for these stands are $30.00 and up.

We found a kit that had a flag, stand, a two piece flag pole and an eagle finial. There are a few other finials available like ball, spear, star and cross.

If you have a stand that isn’t weighted try filling it with water or sand. This will keep the flag pole upright. You can purchase just a stand if that is all you need.

There are stores that sell stands which can accommodate three flags. If you do a lot of tailgating there are stands that go under your tire to anchor the stand so that the flag doesn’t fall over.

Another set we found with an eight foot two piece oak pole with brass fitting, a gold plated eagle finial and golden cords and tassel and of course the flag pole stand.

We found one stand made of bronze and platinum with stars around the base for $170.00. There was a three legged cast iron stand that will last for a very long time.

Check out flag sites on line and you will find dozens of free standing flag pole stands. Some of them are just plain undecorated stands, some have embossed stars, decorative swirls, and open work designs that look like fancy wrought iron scroll work.
