Facts and History of Moldova Flag

Being Romania’s eastern neighbor, Moldova has many cultural aspects in common with Romania.

The two countries’ languages are very alike and so are their flags: the only difference is that Moldova has its national coat of arms engraved on the yellow colour stripe.

One of the most interesting facts and history of Moldova Flag is that besides the Paraguay and Saudi Arabia flags, Moldova has the only flag that has obverse and reverse sides that are differing.

The only difference between Moldova and Romania’s coat of arms is the olive branch that the eagle is holding in its beak and the traditional rose, crescent and star.
