As the fourth of July approaches, its time for the sale of American flags.

The fourth of July of course is the Independence Day of the United States, marking the day of freedom for the country from the British Empire.

As the anniversary approaches, you would find the American flag for sale from a large number of outlets all over the country. As patriotic citizens, a large number of Americans would be buying these flags to celebrate the occasion of their Independence Day.

One of the funniest things about a large majority of these flags is that many of them are made in China. They are all American flags alright, but they have the “Made in China” label at the bottom of each piece.

Of course, there are American made flags of better quality, but they would be a little more expensive than the “Chinese” American flags. As part of their patriotism, Americans probably need to spend a few extra dollars and buy flags made in their own country rather than sending their dollars to a foreign nation.

Some people see this as a minor issue but others see this as one of the ways in which other small, and sometimes, big countries begin to grow at the expense of America.

Some say that it is something that is part of world economics, while others protest that something has to be done to make Americans show more patriotism to their own economy by buying goods made in their own country.
